Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen Youssoupha - Ne Compare Pas as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ike Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rory Diaz! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by Diaz there. Diaz keeps the fight on the outside. Turner is looking to clinch. Diaz throws a right hand that Turner ducks under and follows up with a left that Turner also avoids with ease. Turner thows a body kick. Diaz tries to catch it but that hurt him. Turner throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Diaz counters with a stiff right hand. Turner throws a shot from downtown. Diaz moves away and avoids it. Turner cracks the inside of Diaz's front leg. Diaz checks the leg kick. Diaz throws a body punch but Turner moves out of range. Some bone on bone action there as Diaz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Turner misses with a kick to the body.
Diaz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Diaz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turner circles away quickly and effectively. Turner scores with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Turner has managed to clinch.
Turner pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Diaz avoids a wild elbow strike from Turner. Diaz gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Turner regains guard.
Turner looking for a sweep. Not yet Turner, not yet. Diaz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Diaz wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving. Diaz controls from within his opponent's guard. Diaz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Turner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Turner has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz working for a triangle but Turner defends it easily.
Diaz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Turner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Turner won't allow Diaz to sweep him here. Diaz manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Turner wants to try and get back to his feet. Diaz goes for an armbar but Turner turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Turner. Diaz is looking for a triangle but Turner pushes his legs off easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Turner's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rory Diaz will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Turner misses with the body kick and Diaz counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Diaz moves out of range as Turner throws a body kick.

Turner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Diaz paws at him with a jab and circles away. Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Diaz shoots for a takedown but Turner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Turner throws a body kick that misses. Turner jabs Diaz to the body, keeping him at a distance. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Diaz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turner has time to react. Turner misses with an attempted mid kick.
Diaz misses with a straight right. Turner tries to clinch up letting Diaz counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner moves in looking to clinch but Diaz pushes him off. Turner looks to score with a jab to the body but Diaz is just out of range. Ike Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Turner drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Diaz right on the button. Diaz goes down! Turner follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Turner gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ike Turner!
