Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roberto Colon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Graham!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graham doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Colon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Graham!

Colon lands a big shot there that rocks Graham but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Colon looking for a guillotine from mount but Graham is having none of it.
Graham regains half guard.
Colon scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Graham is holding on to half guard well.
Graham wants to improve his position but Colon is controlling well.
Colon moves nicely into side control.
Graham takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Colon throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Graham works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Colon seems to be looking for submissions.

Colon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Graham doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Colon.
Graham is trying to control but can't.
Graham keeping hold of Colon's head, controlling as best he can.
Colon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Colon seems to be working for a kimura but Graham defends the submission attempt.
Graham makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Graham.
Colon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Graham on the ground.

Graham has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Graham is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Colon looking for submissions off his back.

Graham is looking for a kimura but Colon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Graham to get the leverage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Colon is refusing to be controlled, as Graham sits in half guard.

Graham has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Colon defend it? Graham steps over the head and cranks it - Colon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Graham!
