Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Straight Out of Line. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida throws a low kick but Finch avoids it.
Machida throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Finch.
Machida fails to land with a series of punches.
Finch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Machida throws out the jab.

Finch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Machida, pushing him back against the cage.
Finch jumps guard and drags Machida to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Finch holds on and takes a little breather.

Finch has hold of Machida's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Machida manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
