Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel comes to the cage accompanied by Rob S. - Forever Yong. Vera has chosen Black Eyed Peas - Bebot as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Noel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vera somewhat.
Noel looks to score with a jab to the body but Vera is just out of range.
Vera drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Vera wants to pass the guard but Noel is keeping the position.
Noel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Vera counters with a single leg into guard. Noel didn't expect that.
Vera must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Noel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vera defends it easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ryan Noel.
Well Vera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
