Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamar Lawal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lawal might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to E.S. Posthumus Unstoppable . Wayne is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Something in the Way by Nirvana. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wayne defends it nicely.
Wayne throws an overhand right that lands on Lawal's shoulder, as Lawal tries to avoid the shot.
Lawal misses with a takedown attempt - Wayne sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wayne slaps away a takedown attempt from Lawal, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Lawal shoots in for a takedown but Wayne shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Wayne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lawal circles away quickly and effectively.
Ronnie Wayne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wayne defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lawal.

Wayne lands a really nice looking cross but Lawal seems unphased.

Wayne fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lawal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Wayne throws a solid leg kick but Lawal takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wayne.

Wayne does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Wayne throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lawal.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lawal is defended easily by Wayne.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Lawal counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wayne won't be happy with that.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lawal tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wayne sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lawal somewhat.

Ronnie Wayne is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Wayne wants to get up but he can't break Lawal's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lawal has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wayne can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lawal walks into a stiff left hand from Wayne.
Wayne moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Wayne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lawal walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wayne throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lawal on the side of the head.
Wayne moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lawal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wayne pinned against the cage. Wayne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Ronnie Wayne.
I've got Wayne winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ronnie Wayne decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
