The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyazawa takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Kiryu Miyazawa has been cut.
Jassole sizes up Miyazawa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jassole tries a head kick but it misses.
Miyazawa is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jassole's half guard.

Miyazawa is looking to take a break and control but Jassole is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jassole tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Miyazawa cranks the arm and Jassole screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jassole, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
