Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Gazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex KwonDo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gazer comes to the cage accompanied by Cuts Like a Knife. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Gazer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rex KwonDo! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! KwonDo wants to slow Gazer down by chopping away at his legs. KwonDo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gazer is looking for a sweep. KwonDo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. KwonDo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gazer has managed to free his arm - good work. Gazer tries to roll over but KwonDo keeps him under control. Gazer works his way to full guard. Good work. KwonDo preventing the sweep. KwonDo postures up in Gazer's guard and throws a big left but Gazer blocks it. KwonDo passes Gazer's left leg - he's now in half guard. Gazer regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gazer working for a triangle but KwonDo defends it easily.
KwonDo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gazer trying to control the position here. KwonDo wants to control from the top but Gazer keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gazer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from KwonDo.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. KwonDo throws a body kick that misses. KwonDo walks into a left hand.
It looks like Rex KwonDo has been cut. KwonDo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than KwonDo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gazer can't escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action! KwonDo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Gazer is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Gazer and KwonDo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
KwonDo working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. KwonDo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Gazer sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gazer tries to roll over but KwonDo keeps him under control. Gazer is trying to control but can't.
Gazer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because KwonDo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. KwonDo thows a huge punch but Gazer dodges it nicely.
Gazer is holding on to half guard well. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. KwonDo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gazer keeps working. KwonDo is thwarting Gazer's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Peter Gazer just wasn't active enough. Gazer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gazer throwing shots but KwonDo is blocking nicely. KwonDo looks like he's trying to stand up.
KwonDo makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Gazer misses with a series of wild punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. KwonDo tries a head kick but it misses.
KwonDo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. KwonDo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gazer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. KwonDo throws a body punch but Gazer moves out of range. Gazer shoots in but KwonDo avoids the takedown attempt easily. KwonDo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Peter Gazer will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rex KwonDo's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
KwonDo slips a straight right by Gazer. KwonDo gets the takedown into side control. Gazer sneaks back into half guard. KwonDo wants to work for an arm triangle but Gazer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
KwonDo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gazer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Gazer regains full guard. Nicely done. KwonDo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gazer is pulling down on KwonDo's head. It's preventing any offense from KwonDo, at least for the moment. KwonDo wants to control from the top but Gazer keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gazer has KwonDo pulled in close to control his posture. Gazer looking to hit a scissor sweep but KwonDo is one step ahead there. KwonDo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. KwonDo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gazer to the mat! Gazer manages to get full guard. Rex KwonDo has got the better of the ground game so far. Gazer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. KwonDo wants to improve his position but Gazer is controlling well.
Gazer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. KwonDo wants to get back to his feet. Gazer seems to be working for a kimura but KwonDo defends the submission attempt. Gazer working KwonDo over with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are battling for position here. KwonDo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gazer is looking to work some ground and pound but KwonDo has wrist control. KwonDo wants to get back to his feet but Gazer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gazer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gazer throwing strikes but missing. Gazer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gazer throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gazer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. KwonDo pulls Gazer in close to prevent any damage. KwonDo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. KwonDo is trying to control the position but Gazer postures up. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Gazer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as KwonDo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gazer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Gazer throwing strikes but missing. Gazer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. KwonDo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Gazer has passed into side control.
Gazer working the ground and pound but KwonDo is defending the strikes. KwonDo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gazer tries for a kimura but KwonDo is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gazer is putting a hurting on KwonDo here, landing some big shots from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gazer misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Gazer cracks KwonDo with a big elbow.
The cut above Rex KwonDo's eye is starting to cause him problems now. KwonDo is looking for a sweep. KwonDo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. KwonDo is breathing heavily. Gazer cracks KwonDo with a big elbow.
Rex KwonDo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rex KwonDo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Peter Gazer! Peter Gazer bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
