Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Ping Pong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Raeder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ping Pong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ping Pong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dirk Raeder! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raeder darts in trying to clinch and Pong counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pong lands with a slapping head kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Raeder looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pong cracks Raeder with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Pong throws a hook but Raeder blocks it. Raeder fails in his attempt to clinch. Pong looks to score with a jab to the body but Raeder is just out of range. Dirk Raeder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pong missing with a left hand there. Raeder was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Pong misses with a double jab.
Raeder tries to close the distance and clinch but Pong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Raeder throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Raeder tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Raeder moves in looking to clinch but Pong pushes him off. Raeder wants to clinch but Pong slips to the side and Raeder takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Raeder avoids the head kick by Pong.
Pong keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Raeder tries to clinch up but Pong circles away and keeps his distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Raeder looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raeder looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pong throws a head kick but Raeder moves out of range.
Raeder doesn't manage to clinch there - Pong circles away.
Raeder misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pong swats away the attempt to clinch by Raeder. Raeder uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pong. Raeder darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Pong with a nice cross. Raeder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pong swats him away and circles back towards the center. Raeder tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pong counters with an outside leg kick.
Raeder looks to clinch and Pong counters with a solid body kick. Raeder wants to clinch. Pong connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pong lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Raeder tries to clinch enabling Pong to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pong cracks Raeder with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Raeder is rocked! Raeder displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pong throws out the jab. Raeder throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A head kick misses from Pong. Raeder tries to clinch but Pong moves away and Pong makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Pong keeps the fight on the outside. Raeder tries to clinch there but Pong circles away.
Raeder wants to clinch up but Pong keeps it at a distance. Pong keeps the fight on the outside. Pong dodges the punch combination from Raeder.
Pong throws a body punch but Raeder moves out of range. Raeder takes one on the button. Pong throws a series of punches but Raeder moves out of range. Pong throws a hook but Raeder blocks it. Pong throws a quick inside leg kick. Pong is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Pong circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raeder uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pong. Raeder tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Pong paws at him with a jab and circles away. Raeder fails with an attempt to clinch.
Raeder throws a head kick that misses. Raeder tries to clinch and Pong counters with a nice uppercut. Sloppy strikes from Raeder. Those never looked like landing. Pong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Raeder tries to clinch but Pong moves away and Pong counters with a two punch combo. Raeder tries to clinch but Pong moves away and Pong counters with a head kick. Raeder is still on wobbly legs! Can Pong finish him? Raeder misses with a few strikes there.
Raeder fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pong manages to avoid it. Raeder throws a right and a left that both miss. Nice uppercut there from Pong. Raeder tries to clinch but Pong moves away and Pong counters with a perfect left hook, dropping Pong to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Ping Pong!
