Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Nick Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, David Nixon!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fury gets tackled into the cage by Nixon. Nixon maintains the clinch.
Nixon wants a takedown but no success here.
Nixon is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fury is defending well for now.
Fury misses with a hook to the ribs.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fury.
Nixon swings wildly with an uppercut but Fury uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fury misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Nixon.
Nixon can't find room to land a body shot as Fury controls the action.
Fury lands a hook that snaps the head of Nixon backwards.
Nixon is trying to break free.
Fury scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Fury lands a right hand.
Nixon blocks an uppercut.
Fury lands a hook that snaps the head of Nixon backwards.
Nixon stalls.
Nixon missing with knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fury is trying to maintain a safe position but Nixon gets an underhook and turns Fury into the cage.
Fury makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Nixon stalling in the clinch.
Nixon struggles to land a body shot inside as Fury controls his hands.
Fury swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Fury is looking to control Nixon's arms but Nixon gets an underhook and turns him. Now Fury has his back to the cage.
Fury wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nixon has him pressed against the cage.
Fury tries to work over Nixon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fury tries to throw a body punch but Nixon avoids it by throwing Fury back against the cage.
Fury stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Fury breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice combination there by Nixon.
Nixon looks to land a combination but Fury avoids it well.
Fury avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Fury drops Nixon with a beautiful combination! Nixon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fury is looking for the KO!


Nixon is rocked!


It looks like David Nixon has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fury lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Nixon head around and knocks him out cold! Fury hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nick Fury!
