Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flo Tinaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephan Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tinaway comes into the arena with Sonic Boom Six - Floating Away blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Flo Tinaway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephan Walter!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tinaway throws an overhand right that lands on Walter's shoulder, as Walter tries to avoid the shot.
Walter takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Walter moves to clinch but Tinaway breaks away

and Tinaway counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Walter's guard now.

Tinaway has gone for a leg lock! Walter slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tinaway's guard.
Walter wants to stand but Tinaway has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Walter stands up and waves to Tinaway to follow him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walter misses the jab.
Tinaway wants to clinch up but Walter keeps it at a distance.
Stephan Walter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tinaway looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walter is fending him off so far but Tinaway persists. Nope, Walter circles away and we're back to standing.

Walter darts in and clinches Tinaway up against the cage.
A short left from Walter.
Walter lands a nice uppercut.
Tinaway jumps guard but Walter stands there with Tinaway around his waist. Tinaway gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Walter lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Walter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Walter darts in and clinches Tinaway up against the cage.
Tinaway fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flo Tinaway. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Walter breaks the clinch.
Tinaway shoots in but Walter avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tinaway fails with the takedown
and Walter counters with a straight right hand.
Tinaway is breathing heavily.

Walter moves into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tinaway tries for a takedown but Walter manages to get underhooks.

Walter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Walter closes the distance and pushes Tinaway back into the cage.

Walter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tinaway tries to keep at a distance but Walter has taken the fight into the clinch.

Walter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Walter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tinaway manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tinaway slips a jab and a cross from Walter.
Walter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tinaway was well out of range. Poor timing from Walter.
Walter tries to clinch there but Tinaway circles away.
Walter is looking to clinch.

Walter gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tinaway jumps guard but Walter stands there with Tinaway around his waist. Tinaway gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Walter breaks the clinch.
Walter misses with a looping right.
Walter tries to clinch there but Tinaway circles away.
Tinaway shoots in for a takedown but Walter shows good takedown defense.

Walter gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Walter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Walter wants to land a leg kick but Tinaway is out of range.
Walter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Walter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Walter tries to bum rush Tinaway with a series of wild strikes but Tinaway uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Walter throws a series of punches but Tinaway avoids them all with ease.
Tinaway misses with a takedown attempt

and Walter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Walter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Walter closes the distance and pushes Tinaway back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Walter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tinaway dodges the punch combination from Walter.
Walter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stephan Walter dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Tinaway takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Walter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A cross from Walter lands.


It looks like Flo Tinaway has been cut.
No joy there for Walter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Walter misses the shot to the body.

Walter gets a clinch.

Walter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Walter moves into the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Walter as the two fighters clinch.
Tinaway tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Walter just stands there and leans against the cage.

Walter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Walter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tinaway, pushing him back against the cage.
Tinaway can't get the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Walter breaks the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tinaway drops down looking for an ankle pick but Walter pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flo Tinaway. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Walter drops Tinaway with a beautiful combination! Tinaway stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Walter is looking for the KO!

Oh Tinaway is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tinaway doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Walter counters with a nice body shot.
Walter goes for a small jab and connects. Now Walter goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Tinaway stumbles back but Walter runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Tinaway to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Tinaway will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stephan Walter!
