PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Barac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Deckard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barac's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Connected. Deckard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In Lust kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barac swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Barac connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Deckard's hands.

It looks like Rick Deckard has been cut.

Deckard gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Deckard misses with a knee to the head.
Barac tries to work over Deckard's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Barac swings wildly with an uppercut but Deckard uses good head movement to avoid it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ivan Barac.
Deckard looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barac is fending him off so far but Deckard persists. Nope, Barac circles away and we're back to standing.

Barac lands with a hook. Deckard tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Deckard shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ivan Barac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Deckard.

Barac cracks Deckard with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Deckard looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Barac finish him?

Barac weaves into range and cracks Deckard right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Deckard goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Barac is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ivan Barac decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
