Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luisito Banaag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shanir Shackioorhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banaag comes to the cage accompanied by Soulfly - Pain. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luisito Banaag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shanir Shackioorhan! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banaag keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Banaag tries a head kick but it misses.
Shackioorhan throws an overhand right that lands on Banaag's shoulder, as Banaag tries to avoid the shot. Banaag throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Shackioorhan. Banaag fakes the leg kick and cracks Shackioorhan in the body. Shackioorhan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Banaag avoids it really well and circles away. Banaag cracks the inside of Shackioorhan's front leg. The fighters circling - Banaag throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Banaag buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Banaag fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Banaag misses with a head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shackioorhan walks into a left hand. Banaag tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shackioorhan gets tackled into the cage by Banaag. Banaag maintains the clinch. Banaag taking a breather. Banaag pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Banaag connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shackioorhan momentarily.
Shackioorhan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Banaag finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Luisito Banaag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shanir Shackioorhan. Shackioorhan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Banaag connects with a solid leg kick. Shackioorhan with a lazy takedown attempt and Banaag counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shackioorhan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Shackioorhan tries for a takedown but Banaag circles away easily and Banaag counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Shackioorhan looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banaag escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Banaag lets loose with a powerful body kick. Shackioorhan will feel that in the morning. Shackioorhan shoots and misses and Banaag counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Shackioorhan is lucky that one didn't land flush. Banaag connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Banaag lands with an overhand left. Banaag throws a head kick that half lands.
Luisito Banaag is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Banaag keeps Shackioorhan at a distance using the push kick. Banaag lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Banaag clinches up against the cage. Banaag with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Shackioorhan is rocked! Banaag lands a knee to the head.
Shackioorhan is still on wobbly legs! Can Banaag finish him? Banaag with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Banaag has Shackioorhan pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Shackioorhan is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Banaag - that's hurt Shackioorhan badly! Oh, another knee lands and Shackioorhan is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Shackioorhan doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Luisito Banaag!
