Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byob D Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Byob D Great will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stephen Reeves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Byob D Great! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! D Great will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. D Great shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. D Great takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Reeves might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reeves is trying to maintain the position but D Great is very close to passing his half guard. Reeves tries to roll over but D Great keeps him under control. Reeves is staying active underneath D Great, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Byob D Great has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. D Great misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. D Great gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Reeves's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Stephen Reeves just wasn't active enough. D Great tries for a takedown but Reeves circles away easily and Reeves counters with a takedown into side control. Reeves happy to just control the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Reeves tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reeves has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. D Great is trying to improve his position. Reeves could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reeves is staying tight to D Great's torso, preventing him from escaping. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stephen Reeves has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. D Great moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. D Great tries to break free but Reeves pushes him back against the cage. D Great is trying to pull guard but Reeves has him pressed against the cage. Stephen Reeves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Byob D Great. D Great fails to pull guard.
Reeves is defending well against a takedown attempt. D Great has Reeves pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. D Great pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Reeves tumbling to the mat - D Great dives into Reeves's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Reeves is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. D Great is aware though and is defending well. Reeves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. D Great doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Reeves is tightening it up a little... D Great has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! D Great reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! D Great taps out! Nice BJJ there by Reeves!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Stephen Reeves! A relieved looking Stephen Reeves thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
