2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Johnson! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leeder closes the distance but Johnson moves to the side and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Leeder tries to buck Johnson off but Johnson is having none of it. Johnson scores with punches from side control. Johnson throws a strike aimed at the side of Leeder's head but Leeder avoids it well. Johnson landing a few strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
