Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jp Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Benevides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benn comes to the cage accompanied by Icarus by Hopesfall. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benevides darts in trying to clinch
and Benn counters with a slapping leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Benn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Benevides shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Benn sprawls well. Benn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Benevides gets slowly back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Benn enables Benevides to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Benn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
