Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Break Stuff. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tito Ortiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alexander Quincy! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quincy gets caught napping as Ortiz dives in and scores a takedown. Quincy manages to retain guard. Ortiz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Ortiz won't allow Quincy to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quincy is trying to keep Ortiz in close.
Quincy wants to stand up but Ortiz is controlling him.
Tito Ortiz has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Ortiz tries to land a front kick but Quincy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Ortiz shoots in and drives through. Quincy sprawls well. Ortiz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Quincy wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ortiz in particular looking to stall. Quincy is trying to stand.
Quincy pushes Ortiz off but Ortiz dives into side control.
Quincy looks gassed! Ortiz misses with the ground and pound. Ortiz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Quincy, who protects the arm well. Ortiz creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Quincy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quincy tries to improve position but can't. Ortiz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Ortiz controls the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ortiz throws a strike aimed at the side of Quincy's head but Quincy avoids it well.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tito Ortiz just wasn't active enough. Ortiz moves out of range as Quincy strikes. Quincy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ortiz avoids it really well and circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - Ortiz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Quincy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ortiz closes the distance and pushes Quincy back into the cage. Quincy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Quincy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ortiz smiles and moves away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Quincy shoots in for a double leg but Ortiz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tito Ortiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Quincy. Nice takedown defense from Quincy. No joy for Ortiz on that attempt. Quincy is looking to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Ortiz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ortiz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ortiz slips nicely into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ortiz is controlling the pace.

Tito Ortiz dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ortiz scores a takedown into full mount! Ortiz trying to control but he's not successful this time. Quincy wants to get back to his feet.
Quincy tries to lock up and control but Ortiz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ortiz unloads with some shots from mount but Quincy bucks and avoids them well.

Quincy is breathing heavily. Quincy covering up well under a barage of strikes. Ortiz has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Quincy! Can he survive? No! He's out! Ortiz gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
