Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mihail Mansurov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Sobieski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mansurov comes to the cage accompanied by Kreator - Impossible Brutality. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sobieski's choice of entrance music: Kto Cię Obroni Polsko. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jan Sobieski was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mihail Mansurov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jan Sobieski! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mansurov throws a hook but Sobieski avoids it easily. Mansurov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sobieski.
Sobieski throws a looping overhand right but Mansurov ducks down to avoid it. Sobieski pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Mansurov lands a nice hook to Sobieski's body. Sobieski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Sobieski fails with the takedown. Mansurov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sobieski's half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sobieski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sobieski is pressing down on Mansurov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mansurov trying to control the position from guard on top but Sobieski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mansurov stopping the sweep attempt from Sobieski. Sobieski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mansurov manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sobieski is in close to Mansurov's body, working some short punches and elbows. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sobieski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sobieski trying to control but Mansurov is working from the bottom. Sobieski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mansurov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sobieski loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sobieski wants to control from the top but Mansurov keeps moving. Sobieski postures up.
Mansurov is really struggling to control Sobieski but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mansurov avoids the head kick by Sobieski.
Sobieski takes a swing at Mansurov's ribcage but misses. Mansurov swings for the body but Sobieski moves out of range.
Mansurov lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sobieski at a distance.
A head kick misses from Sobieski. Sobieski drives through with a takedown into guard. Mansurov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sobieski tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Mansurov has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Sobieski keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mansurov working Sobieski over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jan Sobieski will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sobieski looks to land a body kick but Mansurov moved away. Mansurov getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Mansurov moves into the clinch. Sobieski is looking to break free of the clinch but Mansurov has double underhooks. Mansurov pushes off an throws an elbow but Sobieski leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Mansurov lands a hook that snaps the head of Sobieski backwards. Mansurov lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Mansurov wants a takedown.
Sobieski working hard to break the clinch. Sobieski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mansurov has him pressed against the cage. Mansurov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Mansurov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Mansurov throws a head punch that misses. Mansurov lands a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short right from Mansurov. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sobieski. Mansurov lands a hook that snaps the head of Sobieski backwards. Mansurov throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sobieski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mansurov takes a kick to the side of the head. Sobieski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mansurov throws a shot from downtown. Sobieski moves away and avoids it. Mansurov is looking to clinch. Sobieski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mansurov finds it's way round the side to connect with Sobieski's head. Mansurov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Sobieski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sobieski looks to land a body kick but Mansurov moved away. Mansurov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sobieski sprawls well. Sobieski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mansurov gets slowly back to his feet. Mansurov misses with a looping left. Sobieski pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sobieski tries a head kick but it misses.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mansurov here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Mansurov scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Sobieski moves out of range as Mansurov strikes. Mansurov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sobieski manages to avoid it. Mansurov wants to clinch but Sobieski slips to the side and Sobieski counters with a head kick that drops Mansurov!
Mansurov is rocked! Sobieski lands a couple of digs. Oh Mansurov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mansurov trying to keep a closed guard but Sobieski is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sobieski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sobieski cracks Mansurov with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Sobieski immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Mansurov is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Sobieski!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jan Sobieski! Jan Sobieski retains his light heavyweight title! Jan Sobieski looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Hello fans! Champ is back! Thanks for my promotor SanOK Out, thanks for my opponent it was tought fight, and for all you guys.
