Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thad Backer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Monsterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Backer comes to the cage accompanied by Hell Yeah. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thad Backer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalle Monsterson! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monsterson looks to land a right hand but Backer moved out of range. Backer tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Monsterson to counter with a crisp jab. Monsterson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Backer circles away. Backer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Monsterson keeps the fight on the outside. Monsterson instigates a clinch. Monsterson stalling in the clinch but Backer improves position. Backer misses with a knee strike.
Backer looking to throw knees to the head but Monsterson is blocking nicely.
Backer tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Monsterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Backer walks away with a smile on his face. Monsterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Monsterson. Thad Backer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalle Monsterson. Backer throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Backer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Backer lands in his opponent's guard. Backer wants to stand but Monsterson is controlling his posture from full guard. Monsterson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Monsterson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Backer rolls with it to try and escape but Monsterson cranks on the arm and Backer is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
