The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wandeco as he avoids it easily.
Wandeco throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Wandeco has closed the distance and engaged Hendricks in a clinch.

Hendricks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wandeco circles away quickly and effectively.

Wandeco has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Hendricks goes down! Wandeco dives on top of him - Hendricks manages to get guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wandeco passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hendricks tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wandeco wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Wandeco connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hendricks some visible discomfort.

Hendricks is rocked!

Wandeco stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Wandy Wandeco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hendricks seems to have recovered his senses.

That has opened up Regan Hendricks's cut even more.
Wandeco lands a good knee to the midsection. Hendricks won't want to take too many of those.
