Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Connor MacManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wendell Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Connor MacManus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wendell Oliveira! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacManus fails with an attempt to clinch.
MacManus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Oliveira. MacManus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oliveira tries to avoid it but MacManus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oliveira to the ground. Oliveira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Oliveira slips a jab and a cross from MacManus.
Oliveira throws a right hand that MacManus ducks under and follows up with a left that MacManus also avoids with ease. The fight moves into the clinch position. MacManus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Oliveira walks away with a smile on his face. MacManus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. MacManus lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. MacManus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oliveira throws a hook but MacManus blocks it. MacManus fails in his attempt to clinch. Oliveira looks to throw the jab but MacManus is out of range. Nice takedown defense from Oliveira. No joy for MacManus on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Connor MacManus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacManus looks to clinch and Oliveira moves into the clinch. MacManus wants to stall.
MacManus tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Oliveira escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oliveira misses with a body shot.
A big left from Oliveira misses. MacManus takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oliveira swats away the attempt to clinch by MacManus. MacManus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. MacManus misses with a low kick. Oliveira checks a low kick from MacManus.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacManus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oliveira manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. MacManus looking to pass the guard. MacManus slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. MacManus with a flurry of punches that miss. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. MacManus trying to control the position from guard on top but Oliveira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oliveira wants to sweep here but MacManus controlling him for the moment. Oliveira avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. MacManus sitting in guard, not really doing much. Oliveira looking to hit a scissor sweep but MacManus is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Oliveira throws a hook to the side of MacManus's head but MacManus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Oliveira lands with a straight right. MacManus didn't see that one coming. MacManus slips a straight right by Oliveira. MacManus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oliveira swats him away and circles back towards the center. MacManus is looking to clinch. Oliveira moves into the clinch successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oliveira managing to block the knees to the body from MacManus.
MacManus tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Oliveira just stands there and leans against the cage. MacManus decides to pull guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacManus trying to control the position.
Oliveira trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Oliveira controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. MacManus is pulling down on Oliveira's head to control his posture. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. MacManus misses with a low kick. Wendell Oliveira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oliveira throws a looping overhand right but MacManus ducks down to avoid it. Oliveira fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. MacManus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wendell Oliveira will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Oliveira connects with a good right hand that stumbles MacManus. MacManus circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Oliveira lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
MacManus is rocked! MacManus is holding his hands too far apart here. Oliveira throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! MacManus is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wendell Oliveira! During a confident post fight interview, Wendell Oliveira thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
