Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Nomo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nomo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Down Rodeo. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hideo Nomo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kowalski is taking a breather. Nomo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nomo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Nomo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kowalski is surviving well by controlling Nomo's body position as best he can.

Kowalski is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Nomo off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kowalski drops back looking for a leg! Nomo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nomo manages to kick Kowalski off! Kowalski jumps back into Nomo's guard.

Nomo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kowalski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
