Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Motta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Motta has chosen Tora Tora as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Igor Alves has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Igor Alves seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves shoots in and bounces Motta off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Motta keeping full guard, as Alves tries to pass.
Motta working for a triangle but Alves defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alves trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Motta is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Alves drops back looking for a leg! Motta is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Motta manages to kick Alves off! Alves jumps back into Motta's guard.

Motta is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alves's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alves's back!
Motta is trying to stick to Alves's back but Alves is turning into Motta. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Motta's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Alves.

Motta is trying to get back to half guard.
Alves tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alves has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Motta manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Motta looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Alves tries to get to full guard but Motta has control of the leg.

Alves manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Motta manages to get himself to full guard.

Alves passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Motta!

Alves is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Motta is forced to tap! Great finish!
