Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Whitfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Reke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Reke is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Whitfield! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Reke! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reke has his takedown stuffed and Whitfield counters with a good, hard body kick but Reke shrugs it off. Whitfield fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Reke tries for a takedown but Whitfield sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Reke looks gassed! Whitfield lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reke doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Reke takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Jose Reke has been cut. Whitfield buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Whitfield lands a jab to Reke's midsection. Whitfield turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Whitfield ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Reke takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Reke has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Whitfield finds it's way round the side to connect with Reke's head. Reke walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whitfield drops Reke with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Reke looks back up at him and smiles so Whitfield waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Reke is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Whitfield cracks the inside of Reke's front leg. Reke is still on wobbly legs! Can Whitfield finish him? Whitfield fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Reke looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Reke seems to have recovered his senses. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Whitfield engages and cracks Reke with a massive lead left hook - Reke tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Whitfield is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andy Whitfield!
