Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Bolinev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe tries for a takedown but Bolinev circles away easily
and Bolinev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Doe fails with the takedown
and Bolinev counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Bolinev counters with a nice uppercut.
Alexander Bolinev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Doe.

and Bolinev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bolinev is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Doe's shoulder. That is not cool.
Bolinev seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Doe for as long as he can get away with.

We're going to have a standup here because Alexander Bolinev wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

The fighters circle momentarily. Bolinev darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Doe is still on wobbly legs! Can Bolinev finish him?

Bolinev shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Doe napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bolinev's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bolinev connects with a nice short shot to Doe's temple.

Alexander Bolinev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bolinev takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee warns Doe that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Doe is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bolinev lands a nice shot to the body.
Bolinev cracks Doe with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice straight punches there by Bolinev. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bolinev.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
