Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Osiris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Fatts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osiris comes into the arena with Deicide - Angels of Hell blaring out of the sound system. Fatts has chosen Hit Em Up by Tupac as his entrance music. Eric Osiris could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jay Fatts's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Eric Osiris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Fatts! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osiris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Osiris stuffs the takedown. Osiris throws a lazy right hand but Fatts sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Osiris leaves Fatts with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Osiris scores with a jab. Fatts with a jab. Fatts throws a jab when Osiris was well out of range. A low kick from Osiris is predictable there and Fatts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fatts tries to free his leg and advance position but Osiris is retaining full guard. Osiris controls Fatts momentarily but Fatts frees himself. Fatts looking to pass the guard. Fatts throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Osiris works some decent striking defense from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Osiris is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osiris stands and throws Fatts's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fatts tries to improve position but can't. Osiris tries to score with some ground and pound. Fatts controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Osiris tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Osiris landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Osiris sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fatts is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fatts tries to buck Osiris off but Osiris is having none of it. Osiris misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Osiris working the strikes but Fatts uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fatts works his way to full guard. Good work. Fatts looking to hit a scissor sweep but Osiris is one step ahead there. Osiris postures up in Fatts's guard and throws a big left but Fatts blocks it. Fatts utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Osiris's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fatts trying to control the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fatts working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Osiris. Osiris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Osiris trying to control but Fatts is working from the bottom. Fatts is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fatts manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fatts landing shots from mount. Fatts avoids the attempt from Osiris to control. Fatts can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Osiris is looking to escape. Fatts avoids the attempt from Osiris to control. Osiris taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fatts sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Fatts misses with a head shot. Osiris is working to get back to half guard.
Fatts is in the full mount, landing strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Fatts is landing with some decent strikes but Osiris is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fatts cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fatts breaks from Osiris's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Osiris is rocked! Osiris tries to lock up and control but Fatts gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Oh Osiris is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fatts cracks Osiris with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Fatts! An out of breath Jay Fatts thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
