PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aztrad Barok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boy Bakal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aztrad Barok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boy Bakal!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakal defending well as Barok loads up on a big left hand.
Barok misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A solid body kick from Bakal.
Barok slips a straight right by Bakal.
Bakal thows a body shot but no joy.
Bakal walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Barok checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bakal lands a jab.
Barok throws a sloppy head kick and Bakal moves out of range easily.
Barok throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barok swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bakal counters with a nice body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bakal.
Barok is breathing heavily.
Barok takes a swing at Bakal's ribcage but misses.
Barok on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bakal throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Bakal getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Aztrad Barok has been cut.
Bakal lands a glancing blow to the side of Barok's head.

Bakal drops Barok with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Barok looks back up at him and smiles so Bakal waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Barok is rocked!
Barok takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bakal. Barok does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bakal fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Barok has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Barok's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bakal connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Barok scrambles back to his feet.
BOOM! Bakal lands a beautiful left hook that drops Barok. Barok tries to recover but Bakal is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Barok lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boy Bakal!
Boy Bakal decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
