Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yorans Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cottontail Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Cottontail Rabbit is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes closes the distance and clinches.
Gomes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gomes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gomes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rabbit gets caught flat footed, as Gomes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gomes stands up from Rabbit's guard - Gomes perhaps looking for a knockout.
Gomes dives in and scores a takedown into Rabbit's guard.
Gomes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gomes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Rabbit that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gomes fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gomes controlling the position easily from mount.
Rabbit is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Gomes locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Rabbit is forced to tap!
