Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuo Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuo Imanari!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gracie did well to prevent Imanari getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Gracie moves into full guard.
Imanari trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie looking for a guillotine here but Imanari defends easily.
Imanari is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Imanari trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Imanari got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Imanari has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.

Imanariis looking to pass into half guard but Gracie pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gracie is in guard.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Imanari is keeping the position.
Imanari escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Imanari works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Imanari is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gracie scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Imanari is looking for a triangle but Gracie pushes his legs off easily.

Gracie lands a couple of elbows.
Imanari trying to keep a closed guard but Gracie is proving a slippery customer.
Imanari working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Imanari can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Gracie is looking to advance position but Imanari won't allow it.
Gracie winds up and cracks Imanari with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Imanari is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount!
Imanari can't escape the position.
Gracie lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Gracie scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Imanari?

Imanari tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Imanari wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.

Imanari is in a horrible position here. Gracie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gracie pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Imanari is rocked!
Gracie softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Imanari is out cold! Gracie jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Gracie!
