The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michihiro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

BayawaK really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Michihiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Michihiro slips a nice elbow through BayawaK's hands, connecting with BayawaK's forehead.
BayawaK is looking for a sweep. Michihiro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Michihiro softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and BayawaK is out cold! Michihiro jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tochinowaka Michihiro!
After winning the bout, Tochinowaka Michihiro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
