The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Sinshi. Those never looked like landing.
Sinshi throws a solid leg kick but Rapthlaka takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sinshi.
Rapthlaka tries to clinch
and Sinshi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rapthlaka lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sinshi lands a lovely overhand right.
Sinshi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sinshi lands a big head kick that sends Rapthlaka tumbling to the mat! Sinshi takes a step backwards and waves Rapthlaka back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rapthlaka is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sinshi batters Rapthlaka with a massive right followed by a huge left! Rapthlaka is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Sinshi lands a final crushing right hand to drop Rapthlaka to the mat with a gruesome thud! Sinshi is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kato Sinshi!
