Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between AC Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Kazarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tom Kazarian! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slater keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Slater leaves Kazarian with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kazarian will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. AC Slater has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Kazarian. Kazarian shoots for a takedown but Slater saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Slater stuffs the takedown attempt from Kazarian. Kazarian gets slowly back to his feet. Kazarian has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Slater finds it's way round the side to connect with Kazarian's head. Slater scores with a jab to the body. Slater tries to clinch but Kazarian is having none of it. Slater lands a really nice looking cross but Kazarian seems unphased.
Nice sprawl there from Slater as Kazarian shoots in. Slater catches Kazarian with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Slater leaves Kazarian with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Slater scores with a sloppy right hand. Kazarian should have avoided that one. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kazarian tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slater sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kazarian somewhat. Slater scores with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazarian fails with a takedown attempt. Kazarian misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Slater scores with a jab to the jaw. Slater cracks a nice hook into Kazarian's ribs. AC Slater is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kazarian walks into a left hand. Donk. Slater catches Kazarian right on the button with a cross. Slater jabs Kazarian right on the nose. Kazarian blinks but takes it well. Kazarian darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Slater is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slater taking some punishment here, with Kazarian in his half guard. Slater is trying to stand up here but Kazarian is controlling him well. Slater is breathing heavily. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Slater with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Slater keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kazarian takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazarian trying to control the action but Slater is working from the bottom. Kazarian missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Slater might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kazarian lands strikes from half guard. Kazarian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kazarian is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Nice strikes from Kazarian there.
Slater is rocked! Slater on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slater tries to get out of the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kazarian passes to full mount! Oh Slater is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Slater takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Kazarian's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
