Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kicky McPuncherton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kicky McPuncherton!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka tries to clinch but fails miserably
and McPuncherton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Good exchange - McPuncherton coming out on top.
Boyka tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and McPuncherton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Boyka clinches up with McPuncherton and pushes him back against the ropes.
Boyka throws an elbow but it misses.
McPuncherton blocks the elbow strike.

McPuncherton manages to break the clinch.

and McPuncherton counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

enabling McPuncherton to counter with a crisp jab.

and McPuncherton makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and McPuncherton counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
McPuncherton lands a nice shot to the body.

McPuncherton scores with a nice right hand.
McPuncherton is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McPuncherton closes the distance and catches Boyka with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Boyka is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Boyka is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Boyka is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! McPuncherton takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Kicky McPuncherton!
