Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Gorilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Gorilla told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, King Gorilla! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie avoids the body shot from Gorilla.
Gorilla keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gorilla throws a front kick aimed at Gracie's knee but Gracie avoids it well. Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gorilla circles away. Gorilla fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gracie avoids it really well and circles away. Gorilla shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Gorilla must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gorilla throwing strikes but missing. Gorilla trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gorilla working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gracie's head. Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gorilla pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gorilla postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gorilla tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. Gorilla content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gorilla trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Gorilla missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gorilla is looking to work some ground and pound but Gracie has wrist control. Gorilla with a flurry of punches that miss. Gorilla postures up.
Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gorilla is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows. Gorilla throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gorilla wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gracie has his foot on Gorilla's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gorilla works his way back into a safe position though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gracie is looking for a triangle but Gorilla pushes his legs off easily.
Gorilla throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gorilla wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gorilla throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gorilla with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Gorilla throwing strikes from guard but Gracie blocks nicely. Gorilla looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gorilla pulls Gracie in close to his closed guard and prevents Gracie from doing any damage or advancing position. Gorilla wants to sweep but no luck. Gracie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gorilla keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Gracie looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gorilla throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Gorilla has Gracie pulled in close to control his posture. Gracie trying to control but Gorilla is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A telegraphed right hand from Gorilla misses the target. Gorilla fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gracie avoids it really well and circles away. Gorilla gets a takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gorilla is trying to control the action in half guard but Gracie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Gorilla misses with a head shot. Gracie uses the momentum to regain guard. Gracie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gorilla lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gorilla throws a big right hand that misses. Gorilla lands a couple of digs. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Gorilla from controlling successfully. Gorilla throws an elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gorilla's guard. Nice move by Gracie!
That's six minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gorilla is on top in guard.
Gorilla wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gorilla loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking for a triangle but Gorilla pushes his legs off easily.
Gorilla missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gorilla trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gorilla seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gorilla throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gorilla drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gracie dives on top into guard. Gorilla controlling the position. Gorilla is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Gorilla looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gorilla can do anything to dispel that myth. Gorilla is trying to keep Gracie in close.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. King Gorilla hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gracie checks a low kick from Gorilla. Gorilla scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gorilla fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Gorilla in side control, throwing shots but Gracie defends. Gracie parries the strikes from Gorilla easily there. Gorilla is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gracie to escape.
Gorilla lands a few punches from side control. Gorilla in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Gorilla taking a breather here. Gorilla is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gracie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gorilla postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
King Gorilla is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gorilla content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Gracie tries to bench press Gorilla off him but Gorilla keeps the position. George Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gorilla is staying tight to Gracie's torso, preventing him from escaping.
And that's the end of the fight! King Gorilla comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gorilla has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
