The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with an attempted mid kick.
Milat needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there.
Milat misses with a few strikes there.
Milat lands the left hand.
Jones throws a series of punches but Milat moves out of range.
Jones with a hook.
Milat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Milat misses with a body shot.
Jones lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Milat at a distance.
Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Milat counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones misses with a kick to the body.
Milat blocks the body kick.
Michael Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Milat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Milat swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones misses with a looping left.
Milat throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jones's head.
It looks like Michael Jones has been cut.
Milat throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Milat thows a left - swing and a miss!
Milat looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Jones throws a front kick that sends Milat stumbling back into the cage.
Milat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones swings for the body but Milat moves out of range.
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Milat. That did some damage!
Sloppy strikes from Milat. Those never looked like landing.
Milat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones fakes the leg kick and cracks Milat in the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Milat gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jones.
Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Milat's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Milat takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jones scores with a nice right hand.
Milat takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Donk. Jones catches Milat right on the button with a cross.
Milat is rocked!
Jones fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Milat to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Milat looks to clinch but Jones throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Milat taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
