Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Hattingh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gangmo Lee! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee has closed the distance and engaged Hattingh in a clinch.
Lee lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
It looks like George Hattingh has been cut. A head punch on the inside from Lee fails to land. Lee misses with some punches.
Lee tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Hattingh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lee lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Hattingh swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.
Hattingh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee. Hattingh on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. This has been an exciting period of action! Hattingh gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lee throws a front kick aimed at Hattingh's knee but Hattingh avoids it well. Hattingh slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Lee moves into the clinch successfully.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hattingh misses with a looping right. Hattingh tries to move into range but Lee moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
George Hattingh's cut is getting worse. Hattingh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hattingh gets slowly back to his feet. Hattingh swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.
Hattingh lands with a cross. A looping hook to the body misses from Hattingh. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet. Hattingh throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hattingh! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hattingh is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Lee locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Hattingh is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Gangmo Lee! During a confident post fight interview, Gangmo Lee thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
