Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Graham Who Dat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cael Eisner! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Who Dat gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Eisner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eisner controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Who Dat controls Eisner momentarily but Eisner frees himself. Eisner looking to pass the guard. Who Dat trying to control the position here. Eisner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Who Dat is keeping the position for now. Eisner postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Graham Who Dat just wasn't active enough. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Who Dat. Who Dat shoots and misses and Eisner counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graham Who Dat. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Eisner lands some shots froms side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eisner thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Who Dat is letting Eisner control him for a moment. Eisner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Eisner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Eisner is staying tight to Who Dat's torso, preventing him from escaping. Eisner is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Who Dat is trying to escape and Eisner transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Who Dat is forced to tap! Nice work there by Eisner! Very nice indeed!
