The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Game throws a lazy right hand but Gridlock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Game circles away from the clinch attempt.
Game pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Gridlock ducks under a wild hook from Game.
Gridlock clinches up with Game and pushes him back against the cage.
Game is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Gridlock is defending well.
Gridlock misses with a hook to the ribs.
Game drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gridlock gets the underhooks and prevents it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gridlock creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
