The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brown fails with a takedown attempt.
Brown shoots in and drives through. Storic sprawls well.

Brown tries to score a power double leg takedown but Storic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brown somewhat.

Brown dives in and grabs Storic's left leg, looking for a takedown. Storic pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.

Brown dodges the punch combination from Storic.
Brown shoots in but no luck this time.
Storic throws a shot to the body.
Brown fails to land the takedown.

Storic lands with a nice combination. Brown backs away looking to recover.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brown is defended easily by Storic.
Storic slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Storic dips to his left and cracks Brown with an uppercut!
Marko Storic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Brown scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Storic kicks Brown off and gets back to his feet.
Brown gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Storic lunges at Brown with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brown's hand.
Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Storic avoids it really well and circles away.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Storic as he jumps to the side.
Brown looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Storic uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brown has time to react.
Brown doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Storic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brown on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Brown tries to score a power double leg takedown but Storic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brown somewhat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Storic throws out the jab.

enabling Storic to counter with a crisp jab.

and Storic counters with a stiff right hand.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown moves out of range as Storic strikes.
Storic swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jay Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Storic.
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Storic.
Brown seems to have got his legs back now.
Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Storic's waist but Storic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side.
Brown shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Storic but Storic pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Storic cracks Brown with an open hand slap.
BOOM! Storic lands a beautiful left hook that drops Brown. Brown tries to recover but Storic is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Brown lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
