The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wariacik shoots and misses
and Box counters with a left to the body.
Wariacik fails with the takedown
and Box counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wariacik misses with a takedown attempt
and Wariacik takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wariacik is on top in guard.

Box is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Wariacik is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Box can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Wariacik is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Box has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Box holds on to Wariacik around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wariacik has hold of Box's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Box manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Barnaba Wariacik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
