Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Cam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Aconte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for James Cam has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Cam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magnus Aconte!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cam tries to clinch

so Aconte counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Aconte missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Aconte is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cam is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cam has escaped and now he's on top!
Aconte looking for a sweep. Not yet Aconte, not yet.

Aconte escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Aconte has his foot on Cam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cam works his way back into a safe position though.

Aconte looking for a guillotine here but Cam defends easily.

Aconte is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Cam got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aconte has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cam has managed to get both his arms back between Aconte's legs - danger averted.

Cam stands up from Aconte's guard - Cam perhaps looking for a knockout.

Aconte shoots in looking for a takedown but Cam manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Aconte's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Cam takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Aconte fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Cam tries to escape but Aconte is in control.

Aconte shoots in looking for a takedown. Cam tries to sprawl out of it but Aconte keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cam manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Aconte postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cam is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aconte, into his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Magnus Aconte comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Aconte winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
