Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luc Lemay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zlapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lemay comes into the arena with Gorguts - Obscura blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luc Lemay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Zlapp! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zlapp looks to land a combination but Lemay avoids it well. Lemay misses with a low kick.
Lemay fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zlapp manages to avoid it. Zlapp takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Lemay shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Zlapp counters by moving into the clinch. Zlapp breaks the clinch.
Zlapp closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Zlapp is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lemay is defending well for now. Zlapp pushes Lemay back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Zlapp. Zlapp lands a nice knee to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zlapp lands a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Zlapp is working Lemay over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Lemay will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zlapp passes Lemay's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Zlapp winds up and cracks Lemay with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Zlapp lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lemay is pressing down on Zlapp's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Zlapp throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Zlapp lands a couple of decent looking shots. Zlapp chips away with some ground and pound. Zlapp postures up in Lemay's guard and throws a big left but Lemay blocks it. Zlapp postures up in Lemay's guard and throws a big left but Lemay blocks it. Lemay looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Zlapp is defending well. Lemay quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Zlapp has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lemay celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
