Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Zlapp tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. King is in Zlapp's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King throws a big elbow that misses.

King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zlapp wants to stand and escape but King is having none of it.
Zlapp pulls King in close to prevent any damage.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zlapp can do anything to dispel that myth.

Zlapp manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.

Zlapp is desperately trying to improve his position but King has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
King sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Zlapp is trying desperately to improve position.

Zlapp wants to get back to his feet but King is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
King throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zlapp works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Zlapp looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Zlapp is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zlapp uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Zlapp swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ryan King will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
King misses with a two punch combination.
