Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skull Crash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fluffy Kittens! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crash lands with a nice body kick. Crash lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Kittens changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crash looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kittens thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kittens goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Crash has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kittens but great work by Crash. Kittens is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crash working away. Crash is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kittens will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kittens tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crash wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crash looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Kittens is avoiding damage well.
Kittens is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kittens is trying to escape the position but Crash is controlling the position. Kittens struggling a bit here. Kittens is looking to regain half guard here but Crash keeps moving and retains side control. Crash happy to just control the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kittens trying his best to control but Crash has mounted him. Crash trying to control but Kittens is having none of it. Kittens manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kittens tries to get to full guard but Crash has control of the leg. Kittens moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Crash preventing the sweep. Crash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kittens swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kittens is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crash slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Skull Crash has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Crash tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kittens is defended easily by Crash. An inside leg kick lands from Crash. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Skull Crash will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kittens throws the left hand but Crash avoids the punch easily. Kittens checks a leg kick. Crash goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Crash with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Crash lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Kittens closes the distance and clinches up with Crash, looking for a takedown. Kittens pushes Crash against the cage but Crash circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Crash scores with a hook to the body. Kittens takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Crash delivers a nice body kick. Crash throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Crash misses with a leg kick. A decent looking body kick lands there for Crash. Kittens misses with a takedown attempt and Crash counters with a low kick, right behind Kittens 's knee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crash attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Kittens throws a big shot that misses. That kick from Crash tenderised Kittens's leg. Kittens is trying to keep his angry face on. Crash lands a leg kick that knocks Kittens off balance momentarily. Crash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A head kick from Crash lands but Kittens takes it in his stride. Kittens shoots in looking for a takedown. Crash tries to sprawl out of it but Kittens keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Skull Crash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fluffy Kittens. Kittens missing with a left hand there. Crash was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Skull Crash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Crash with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kittens throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Crash counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Crash.
Crash lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crash fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kittens. Nice body kick there by Crash. Crash throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kittens. Kittens stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crash. Kittens shoots in and drives through. Crash sprawls well. Kittens throws a looping overhand right but Crash ducks down to avoid it. Kittens misses with a straight right. A slapping leg kick lands for Crash.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Crash. That's going to slow Kittens down. Kittens shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kittens's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Kittens is breathing heavily. Crash lands a right hook to the body.
Kittens shoots in but no luck this time. Crash lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Crash throws a nice inside leg kick. The crowd cheers as Crash lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kittens doesn't seem phased though. Crash connects with a high kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kittens chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crash can pounce on him.
Crash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Crash fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kittens manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crash throws a nice outside leg kick. Kittens steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Crash. That one must have hurt. Crash tries to work over Kittens's front leg with a kick but Kittens checks it. Kittens throws a hook but Crash blocks it. Crash throws a quick inside leg kick. Skull Crash is winning the standup battle so far. Kittens takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kittens has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Crash. Crash is looking to slow Kittens down with leg kicks. Kittens throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Crash tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kittens is in Crash's guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crash keeping full guard, as Kittens tries to pass. Crash is trying to keep Kittens in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Skull Crash dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Crash throws a push kick but Kittens slaps the foot to one side. Crash keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Crash tries to score with a low kick but Kittens moves his leg out of the way. Kittens misses with a takedown attempt and Crash counters with a flying knee. Nice. Skull Crash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fluffy Kittens. Kittens shoots in for a takedown but Crash shows good takedown defense. Kittens looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kittens takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kittens fails with a takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kittens. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A decent looking body kick lands there for Crash. Kittens takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Fluffy Kittens has been cut. Crash is looking to wear down Kittens with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kittens takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Crash throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kittens shoots and misses and Crash makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Crash scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Crash throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Crash ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Crash cracks the inside of Kittens's front leg. Nice sprawl there from Crash as Kittens shoots in. Kittens misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Crash scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Kittens has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Crash finds it's way round the side to connect with Kittens's head. Skull Crash is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crash lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Crash scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Crash turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Crash. That's going to slow Kittens down. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crash lands a nice looking body shot.
Fluffy Kittens has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kittens throws a looping overhand right but Crash ducks down to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! Skull Crash showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Crash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
