Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colt Plum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colt Plum! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plum fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Plum with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brown wants to clinch. Brown wants to clinch and Plum counters with a one-two to the body. Brown fails in his attempt to clinch. Brown rushes Plum and presses him up against the cage. Plum wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Brown fails to pull guard.
Brown jumps into guard, dragging Plum to the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Brown is looking for a triangle here but Plum uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Plum working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. This has been an exciting period of action! Brown is trying to improve his position. Brown is trying to control Plum's posture but Plum avoids it. Plum looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Brown is avoiding damage well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plum slows the pace down. Plum working away. Plum decides to stand back up. Plum steps back and let's Brown get back to his feet. Brown tries to clinch up. Brown closes the distance but Plum moves to the side letting Plum counter with a right hand.
It looks like George Brown has been cut. Plum lands a jab to Brown's midsection. Plum throws a leg kick but Brown checks it. A clash of legs there as Brown blocks the low kick. Brown misses with a double jab.
Plum darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Brown moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Plum swats him away and circles back towards the center. Brown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Brown tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Plum counters with a flying knee that drops Brown! Plum dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colt Plum! Colt Plum managed to slip a mention for his sponsors, Untouchable Fight Nutrition, into his post fight interview.
