Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arshad Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vedran Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh comes to the cage accompanied by Check it out. Arshad Singh had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russo wants to clinch
and Singh counters with a shoot takedown. Russo fights it but they end up in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Russo wants to stand but Singh is controlling the position.
Russo is working an open guard so Singh takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Russo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Singh but Singh pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Russo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Singh counters with a takedown into side control.
Russo is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Singh cracks Russo with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Singh immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Russo is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Singh!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arshad Singh!
