Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steven Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rajon Rondo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rondo lands a really nice looking cross but Stout seems unphased.
Stout with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rondo to score with a decent uppercut.
Stout takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stout tries to clinch
and Stout takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rondo circles away from the clinch attempt
and Rondo counters with a straight right hand.
Rondo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rondo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rondo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Rondo lands an overhand right.
Rondo scores with a jab to the body.
Steven Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stout fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stout closes the distance but Rondo moves to the side
and Rondo counters with a nice body shot.
Stout gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Stout on the wrong end of a nice hook.


Stout is rocked!
Stout tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Rondo counters with a right hand to the body.
Oh Stout is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rondo feints a jab promting Stout to slip. Rondo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stout slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rondo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Stout is breathing heavily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rondo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Rondo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rajon Rondo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rondo jabs at Stout's body.
Rondo jabs Stout to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rondo throws a good cross that connects.
Stout looks to clinch
and Rondo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rondo getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Rondo scores with a jab to the body.
Rondo drops Stout with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rondo follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rajon Rondo!
Rajon Rondo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
