Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ned Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hassan Willidirim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ned Edwards has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ned Edwards seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ned Edwards! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hassan Willidirim! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edwards shoots in but no luck this time. Willidirim looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Willidirim takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Edwards shoots in looking for a takedown. Willidirim tries to sprawl out of it but Edwards keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Willidirim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Willidirim moves forwards but Edwards connects with a nice, crisp jab. Edwards fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Willidirim on the side of the head. Edwards connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Willidirim momentarily.
Willidirim slips under a jab from Edwards. Willidirim is trying hard to land a takedown here. Edwards sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Edwards really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Edwards throws a head kick that misses. Edwards ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Edwards closes the distance and lands a one-two. Willidirim closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Willidirim is pressing down on Edwards's thigh, looking to free his foot. Edwards is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edwards is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Edwards looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Edwards looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Edwards is pressing down on Willidirim's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Willidirim throwing strikes but missing. Edwards controls Willidirim momentarily but Willidirim frees himself. Willidirim must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Willidirim avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Willidirim looking to pass the guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Willidirim looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Willidirim tries to free his leg and advance position but Edwards is retaining full guard. Willidirim is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Edwards looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Willidirim is defending well. Edwards quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Willidirim has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Edwards celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
