Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Madness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Goldman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Madness!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Goldman!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Goldman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Madness.

Madness tries to sprawl but Goldman drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Madness is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Goldman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Madness.
