Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between darn fredrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mosh By Eminem. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
fredrick taking some punishment here, with Ortiz in his half guard.
fredrick on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
fredrick is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ortiz is keen to just control but fredrick is a slippery customer.
fredrick is looking for a sweep. Ortiz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ortiz is on top in guard.

fredrick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ortiz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. fredrick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ortiz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of fredrick's head.

Ortiz is working fredrick over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

fredrick is refusing to be controlled, as Ortiz sits in half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. fredrick manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

fredrick is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
fredrick escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ortiz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ortiz throwing strikes from guard but fredrick blocks nicely.
fredrick had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ortiz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. fredrick Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ortiz's back instead.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ortiz just trying to survive but fredrick is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

fredrick has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ortiz has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
fredrick has got one arm under Ortiz's chin. This could be trouble... Ortiz trying to control the other hand but fredrick gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Ortiz has tapped out! The fight is over!
