The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deveraux tries to clinch up
and Kaplan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kaplan.
Deveraux wants to get back to striking at distance but Kaplan won't allow it.
Kaplan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Deveraux gets the underhooks and prevents it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Deveraux.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Deveraux.
Kaplan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Deveraux clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kaplan lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Deveraux.
Kaplan punches the canvas rather than the man.

Kaplan lands shots to the head and Deveraux turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
